Apple has announced an updated iTunes U educational platform that allows teachers and students to create educational content with the iPad version. Within this application for teachers and students new tools for the creation and study of educational materials in Apple tablets are now available.

According to Apple, using the new version of iTunes U, students and teachers can communicate with each other in real time and ask questions, related to the content of the lesson. A new version of iTunes U will work with other Apple products, such as iWork, iBook Author, and many educational applications available for the iPad.
